What is Cru?
Cru is a community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
Cru’s purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others.
Why Cru? My life was transformed by the Gospel while on a Cru Spring Break trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. This trip not only taught me about a relationship with Jesus but also gave me the opportunity to experience true community and compassion from those around me. As my peers sat with me while listening to my questions with care, I experienced the love of God and this led me to want more of Him and less of the things I was consuming for “life”.
My greatest passion is seeing the lives of others changed by the radical love of God. Jesus is fiercely pursuing our hearts and when we encounter Him our lives are transformed.
There is no greater investment of one's life than ensuring that those who do not know God have the opportunity; and those who already know Him, increase their capacity for the abundance of life that He offers them.
